Bullying has become a problem in your school. It happens in the bathroom, hallways and the gym. Think about what this person is like and what he has done to bother and perhaps frighten others. Think about what you can do to solve the problem to keep the bully from bothering people. Write an essay about how the problem of bullying is affecting your class. First, you will need to explain what the bully does to frighten and annoy others. Then explain what needs to be done to stop the bullying of your classmates. Include details and descriptions of what to do and explain why your ideas are good ones.

ReplyDeleteBullies i think will look big and scary and like to pick on people. I think bullies well get in fights, and don't get along with many people. I feel they have nothing better to do. I think bullies will stop as soon as the kid being picked on has the guts to stand up to the bully. Then the bullied kid should tell his friends to be with him and to show the bully he messes with one he messes with all. They say to go to the teacher but that will stop in Chatham middle because kids don’t like to seem like a teachers pet or that they seem like wimps.

Some people bully because they may get abused at home or something and they take their anger out on others because they want to feel in control of something and like that people are scared of them. And then, some just bully for fun because they like making fun of people calling them names and do other offense stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that I would do to stop bullying is when I see it happening I would tell and adult or a teacher that they should do something to the bully to make them stop frightening others and try to talk to the person that’s being bullied to stand up for themselves but not in a violent way to try to talk to the bully or accuse him or her who’s bullying them.

There is a bully lurking in the hallways of our school. He taunts us, calls us names. The sight of unpleasantness brings a smile to his face. He is a tormenter. Maybe he’s this way because of how he’s treated at home, or maybe he doesn’t have any friends. We will never know because the only words that come out of his mouth towards us are ignorant, hurtful, derogatory words. His actions are taking tolls on us. Students keep to them selves, don’t talk. They don’t want to speak, afraid of rejection. Teachers or any adult needs to take charge in this. They need to confront the bully and punish him for his actions. Give him warnings, make him apologize, etc.

ReplyDeleteBullying is a problem all around the world. Jordan Matthews is one of these places. A bully is usually a big mean person who makes fun of others. They may also beat up kids or take their lunch money. Bullies don’t come to school to learn, they come to make fun of people for their own amusement.
A bully will try to intimidate and scare you into doing whatever he tells you to do. They will threaten you, and sometimes hurt you mentally or physically. A bully is usually ignored at home or mistreated. They don’t make good grades in school, hate school, and are most likely to get in trouble with the law at some point and time.
To stop bullying schools should enforce the rules for bullying a fellow student. This would be helpful in securing the safety of students. Schools should also have more than one S.R.O on campus. This would limit the number of bullies, fights, rape, etc. Another thing schools could do to limit bullies is have more people come in to talk about bullying throughout the year. It would teach students about the affects of bully victims. Also help them recognize bullying.

What the bully does to annoy and frighten others is to just start poking them or start calling them names or even trip them or drop their stuff on purpose.

Bullying is affecting our school Matthews High School by the way the Bigger kids call the smaller ones names, and start fights. I think bullies do what they do to I guess satisfy themselves in the way in which they think they stronger, cooler than everyone else. What they don’t know is that some point in their life they are going end up in jail for something stupid they did. Smh.
Bullying can be stopped the person that’s being bullied. One way is to Report it to the Principal, to a Parent or to a Teacher. Another way is for the bullied one to STAND up for them selves and shows the bully that it HAS to stop.!

What bullying does that annoys and frightens others is that there are some people that have killed themselves because of bullying. Usually bullies become bullies because either they are having family problems at home, and are taking it out on other people or they just do it for fun. Some people see it happening but never have the courage to stand up to it and decide to just walk away.
ReplyDeleteThere are many things people can do to stop bullying. For example, you can always stand up for yourself and try to stop it. But that doesn't always work. You can also tell an adult about the bullying and they will do something about it, since in most schools it's prohibited to bully. There is also a campaign that helps people stand up towards bullying and to stop it, its called "Defeat The Label".

From what I’ve seen a bully always goes for the people smaller than him. Only because they know that since they are bigger, the smaller people will feel intimidated and will most likely not fight back. I’ve seen bullies shove people into lockers, pick on them about their weight, and just mess with them for the fun of it. Sometimes bullies will take away peoples food just because they want too and instead of eating it, just throw it away. They bully them just to annoy the person and feel that if they try to fight back, they’ll most likely get beaten up. Bullies pretty much make a person’s life horrible and make them feel scared to go back to where they get bullied.
ReplyDeleteSome things that could probably help a person get bullied less is to always walk with a friend, that way you’re less likely to get bullied because your going to have someone else that could probably stand up to him. You could also speak of it to a parent or teacher and they would most likely do something about it. Speaking to them about it would probably get the student in school suspension or out of school suspension, maybe even a phone call home.

ReplyDeleteYou may tend to see bullying often. Bullying is a common thing and so is cyber bullying. People that bully someone else hurt that persons feeling and that’s why a curtain percentage of teenagers have committed suicide. Bullying mostly happens with teenagers because they are exposed to the social networks than younger generations and they also start getting bullied in high school. No one knows that someone is getting bullied unless the person that is getting bullied is going to tell someone or you are the one getting bullied.
ReplyDeleteThe person that bullies people is the type of person that either does not have a good childhood or is getting treated badly to where they may be getting bullied at home. Kids are only bullies if things at home are not well and they are exposed to it. Bullying starts by the bully not liking the way someone dresses or just the way they look/act. The way to solve an issue about bullying is to tell someone like teachers, parents, and friends about it happening.

I like they other idea where the bullied kid goes up to the bully and talks to him and figures out what is going on. I think that this is one good way to figuring out whats wrong and how to help the proplem.
ReplyDeleteBullying has been happening a lot lately and it mostly happens on social networking sites. Bullying is when someone picks on or makes fun of a person or their appearance. Bullying is wrong because people should not have to be picked on just because the way they are.
ReplyDeleteIf I could stop or prevent bullying I would use several tactics. The first one would be to have a special class to inform about it and to teach that it is wrong. Next I would make consequences for bullying such as, In School Suspension or Out of School Suspension. If this doesn’t stop I would have them suspended for a longer amount of time than ten days minimum.
To ERIC, I disagree with you since I don't think that bullies are big and scary. Anyone can be a bully, and they all look different. Just saying.

They might verbally abuse people such as sexually harrassing them or makeing fun of the way they look. Or just abusing them, pushing them around threating them for homwork i think we can stop this by makein gthe punishment more severe. the teachers could talk to the kids more question them let them know its ok to tell someone.

ReplyDeleteBullies were once victims i think because why would you bully if u are fulfilling your goals and have people there to support you in what you need. Bullies usually bully kids that look "weak" or the nerdy looking ones. They like to call the kids by names some beat other kids up of little things like money or homework.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very big problem that needs to be fixed because lots of kids are scared to come to school other are tired of it and they decide to take their life. Maybe one of them was going to find a cure to a disease or be a famous person and give to the community but it was all ended because they were bullied. One way that i think that this problem could be solved is by talking to the bullies and have them go to a therapy or a anger class. The bully should be kick out of school or taken to the county jail and make it realize that they could end up there. Another way is to have "strong" kids both physical and mentally talk to a victim because adults never see every thing and others don't like to talk to teachers so make the talk to each other and then the kids can tell a grown up then they can fix it. That's what i would do.

According to studies bullying has become a big problem in today’s society especially for schools. Many bullies have many ways to frighten and annoyed people or students. For example, bullies can sexually hurt a student by harassing them or touching them in private parts. Another type of bullying and the most common is when bullies make fun of students for their external appearance (skinny, fat, with glasses, funny face, and short.) they can also make fun of them in school hallways and school gyms.
ReplyDeleteI think I have the perfect solutions to stop bullying, one of them is. Schools should have some kind of program that have detective kinds in schools that have problems with bullying, that way the detective kids can help out and tell an adult what’s going on. That way the adults can do something to stop bullying in schools. In addition, my second solution is that we should warn parents of bullying in schools and how to prevent our children from being bullied by other children at school. First we the parents have to observe our kids if they acting suspicious or different then usual. Second check that your children has change emotionally doesn’t want to play with their friends any more. The last one but the most significant of all, check if your kids grades have decrease that’s the warning that tells you something is wrong. (Children tent to not pay attention in class in they are being bullied by other kids because what they worry about is being bullied.) Those are my solution to bullying in today's society.
Well I personally don't bully or say mean things to others but I do see bullying in my school. I see that a bully uses anything on a person to bully them they talk about how they look and what the wear. An example someone that bully's someone else will be like get out my seat and makes fun of him till he does with all his friends watching him. Bullying happens usually from a person in a smaller grade or a smaller height or how known is he in school.
ReplyDeleteOne way that I plan on helping someone that is getting bullied is by teaching him how to talk back to that person with good comebacks. Also by teaching him how to avoid a situation that the bully mite make fun off him tell him to learn how to watch out for that person and if so to find ways to embarrasses him if the bullying doesn't stop then tell him to present me to that person and ill talk to him and if the problem keeps then to tell an adult what's been going on.

Usually they pick on people who know they will be scared of them and that won’t do anything about them bullying them. Another thing they do is that they love making people feeling bad and unsafe. Some things they do is talk about you as much as they can and they try to intimidate you. They try to embarrass you as much as possible. When you have something out and it is really important to you, for example homework or iPod or something really valuable, and they see it they will take away from you and not give it back. Then they threaten you that if you tell on him/her they will kick you’re a** or that you will regret it. Some bullies look for anything to pick on you for.
ReplyDeleteI think something that should be done to stop bullying is to give them a peace of there own medicine. Get them to face what bullied people face. Make some tuff people like cops (the big buff ones) treat them really bad as bad as they can. Till they wish they would’ve never become a bully we should allow tuff real people come and treat them bad so they can see how much it hurts. I say this because I think punishing them won’t affect them at all it’s just going to make them fell tuffer.

Bulling is a big problem. You can see it every where you go. The reason bullies bully other people is because they want to look all tough because they might feel all weak when they are at home because they might have problems going on. Away that bullies frighten the kids/people is by telling them to do something and if they don't do what they are asked to do then the bully threatens them.

Bullying has been a problem for many years in school all over the nation. Bullying occurs when a boy or girl starts to pick on another kid for the way they look, talk, dresses, and whom they are friends with. That’s why bullying has become a big problem in our schools. We all see it happen in front of us, but we just stand there and watch that kid get bullied. That’s why we our self have to stand up to the bully as much as the kid being bully has to stand up for himself/herself. If the kid gets help form and adult (teacher or parents) they might think they are being a wimp. What the kid has to do is get all his friends to help him stand up to the bully. So that way the bully can see that the poor kid he has being bullying around for so long is not alone anymore, and he has friend to help him/her out.

Bullying starts whenever a person starts making fun of a certain person, which it might be just by the way they act, talk, dress, etc. A bully can honestly be anybody; even the most unexpected person can be doing these types of things to someone else. They thing is that they think they are so much better than anybody else and that is why they think they have the right to be able to bully others around and treat them however they feel like it.

After seeing which one gives the best results then that one should be enforced and be used all the time. Also, there are different campaigns if which they only focus on bullying and on ways to try to prevent them. These should be very helpful on the topic of preventing bullying and what to do to stop this ONCE IN FOR ALL!
